It isn't, but she has dealt in it so long that it is an old friend. In her world, any conflict was one fought to the death - there were no exits, little diplomacy. But there was much subtlety, a vast bevy of corruption - and violence, suddenly lurking around every potential corner.

She also wastes no time, and asks what comes to her mind. This woman has power and wields it, and that is rare enough - but she wants to find the edges, complete the picture.
