That expression is a curious thing to see. True, she's seen magic disliked for numerous reasons, but usually by people who don't have similar abilities. Sariss clearly has something non-technology based which can be mistaken for magic which makes this apparent disdain seem rather unusual.

"Hmm. Perhaps it's closer to qi than Western practices," she muses aloud. Eastern philosophies aren't her area of expertise, but what she knows of it sounds similar to what Sariss is describing to her.
